Accountant
Cyprus | Full-time
Responsibilities
- Regular display of business transactions of Cyprus companies in accounting systems
- Preparation of reports pertaining to VAT, Income Tax, and other tax filings, along with regulatory reporting
- Calculation and preparation of payroll reports
- Preparation of financial statements
- Collection, verification, consolidation of information and documents on corporate expenses
- Work with international payment systems, payment of invoices and other payments
Requirements
- 3+ years of practical experience in accounting within Cyprus, particularly with VAT, payroll, and income tax
- Experience working with accounting programs (1C, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Ability to work with large amounts of data, confident user of spreadsheets
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
- Responsibility, team player, result orientation, well-developed logical and analytical abilities, attention to details, independence in decision making, search for non-standard solutions
Will be a plus
- Knowledge of Russian/Greek languages
- Experience working in fintech companies
